Wahhh!! I haven't updated in *so* long. Anyways, I've already started school and it's not too bad. My american history teacher's completely insane, but he's so funny I don't mind. I have to define tons and tons of terms though, so that can be bad at times. I also have a Columbus essay which is due Thursday... >.< Good news though! I finished the rough draft! XD

I also just wanted to comment about the World Trade Center bombing. I was in AP Chem 3rd period, and during the break I heard something about it. 4th period, my teacher came in and turned on CNN and I saw the footage of that 2nd plane hitting the building... it was so awful! What kind of messed up people do such things? This is the sort of thing that I'll be telling my children (once I have them). Watching the twin towers collapse was one of the most shocking things I've ever seen. I hear the news now, and I just shiver. If I had been older, or visiting New York... who knows? It could have happened to anyone. I can't even explain the feeling I get when I think about it. Just thinking about those thousands of people plunging to their deaths... it's time to turn off CNN and take a rest.

Dude, I suck at updating :x I've been busy with school and whatnot, so there ¬.¬; Erp, so what's going in my life you say? (you -did- say didn't you, I -know- I heard you say it!) Well, staffing at AWA next month XD If I manage to pull a costume together, I'm gonna do Tiara (from Shamanic Princess) in her school fuku thing, no farkin' way I'd do her battle outfit T_T No red patent-pvc for me, kthx... I know I mentioned doing Quistis earlier, but this looks easier and Kitsuchan's gonna be Lena, and if I can find a freakin' karaoke version of Inori no Asa, I'll ask her to sing with me (singing alone is yet another thing I'm NEVAH gonna do :x) Speaking of karaoke, I'm doing pretty well on my "Moon Revenge" memorization, because they 'sposedly do a all girls karaoke of it every year, it's my first year, so how should I know? :X My voice sucks though >.<;; I'm doin' consuite, handing out drinks and stuff, so I shouldn't die from overwork :x Besides being supaa-pysched about the con, what else is going on? Hmm, I tried lychee natta de coco for the first time the past weekend, Death Jellies XD! and I also had an inordinate amount of Pocky :D :D Men's Pocky is the best :o~ Now that I've assaulted you with emoticons... OH! I'm watching the coolest movie in Drama, it's called Nosferatu (spelling? :x) It was made in 1922, it's -completely- silent, and it's the Dracula film Shadow of the Vampire (that weird John Malkovich movie XD) is talking about, the Max Schreck (spelling again? x.x;;) guy really is creepy looking, and his mannerisms are just ::shiver:: He may not of actually been a vampire, but he sure was creepy as all get out x.x; OH! And Neverwhere is the coolest book T_T (I'm -so- late, I'm not done with it yet :x) ::Brreeeep!:: Eep, that noise indicates it's time for me to shut up now :X So until our next special moment, dear readers, it's been real...or has it...or something ::wanders away::

I have to go to school tomorrow... *wails* I don't wanna go to schooooooolll!!!! *whine whine whine* I hate school! I hate going into that damn windowless building! I spent 5 hours getting this tan (albeit I was at a carwash at the time...)!!! *kicks the wall* I don't want to go. *sulks* No manga fix to cheer me up either... I'm now hooked on "Hikaru no Go", about a kid who's possessed by Sai who loves Go. Sai is pretty cool though. Ah well.. time for me to go get ready for school... *sob sob*

Dude, I have just gotten off the hugest HP fic reading spree. Yes, Harry Potter, and yes, fics. Slash fics too... Yay! Draco Veritas finally came out!! *dances for joy* Then I reread Al's Snitch! and tackled his Dark Rising arc. I'm never going to finish... x.x But I'll enjoy failing anyways! XD

I've discovered all these new sites with Angelic Layer, HunterxHunter, Naruto, DNAngel, Cardcaptor Sakura... etc, etc. I'm going to crash from my binge if I don't get hit up with more manga soon... Geez, I sound like I'm totally addicted. Ah well, merely the truth. I want to make series shrines now. Lots of them... but my dad's working me like a dog. I have to do economics and random treadmill crap. x.x;; Ah well, I'll update this page eventually!! Just need to go contact Melchan about some stuff... :D Ahhh!! Ne, I'm finally back from my vacation! So, yeah, it was only a couple days long... but blame that on my parents and their non-existent planning! It wasn't too bad (or at least, not as bad as I thought it would be). Sunday, we drove to Chicago and my mom, Emily (my lil sis), and me went to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry while mah daddy went to an expo thingie. It was pretty fun... but museum food sucks hardcore. Blech. Then we went to our hotel, ate at Panera's, and went swimming in the hotel pool. Well, Emily and I did, anyways. It was cold! There wasn't anyone else there, so they couldn't laugh at my awful swimming skillz. My sister kept on imitating Tsunami from Magical Girl Pretty Sammy (don't even ask...) and I could only thrash about in the water helplessly as I cracked up. 'twas super fun.

The second day sort of sucked, cuz we had to drive through the evil Chicago traffic. It wouldn't have been so bad if my dad wasn't the worst person to have in a car ever. He always randomly yells out instructions at the wrong intersections. By the time we got to Madison, Wisconsin, I was about to die. But we ate McDonald's and I was happy. ^.^;; Then we randomly drove through Oshkosh for no apparent reason and went all the way to Green Bay. Not to offend anyone or anything, but there's very little to do in Green Bay. Although we did stay at a hotel with a great heated indoor swimming pool. Ohhh... and a whirlpool too! It was great.

The third day, we went to the Nat'l Railroad Museum in Green Bay and rode around on the train. Then we went to Milwaukee then went back to Chicago to go shop. My dad bought these yellow china plates from Bloomingdale's and I think they're ugly. Not that I have any say or anything... *sigh* Then we drove all the way back to Ohio and came home at 2am in the morning. I went to sleep... I'm still tired. And I still have summer reading to do!! Erk.

Wow, social interaction is such a great thing XD I spent all day yesterday with my oneechan, Alexis. She came over and I had such a blast :D We even baked cookies because she's -such- a Belldandy/Kasumi-chan (she wore her Piyo Kyoko apron :D) And now I've got some Miyu tv and more Inuyasha and the AMG movie (:o~~) thanks to her, arigato oneechan! Well, I just thought I'd reiterate that hanging out and watchin' anime is da bomb, yo... :X

I think we're leaving for vacation soon... but we might not even go. *sigh* There was a spider on my wall, and I was freaked so I called my lil sis over. She brought me a dictionary and a tissue. ^.^;; Problem is, when I tried to kill it, it dropped onto the dictionary, I let go, and it disappeared. We found it on the floor later and vacuumed it up. Oh, such is a day in the life of Elaine. Hey, that even rhymes!

w00t, my first post :D I wonder if I'll neglect my already-neglected LiveJournal now ¬.¬ Poor Elchan, she's had to do all the html work because all this newfangled technology-type stuff hurts my brain *sweatdrop* I've always wanted to do a webpage, I just lack the mad skillz, so I was like, "Elll, do a blog with meee" gotta start somewhere, ya know? I'm glad she's been able to put up with my total lack of sense about this web stuff (slice the image for html?...huh? :x) And to think, I own a Satsuki Yatouji nick on Dal....I'm not worthy! Speaking of Dal, I spend way too much time there (does that go under the "about" section? :x) but now that school's back in, I usually don't get on the compchan 'till 8 or later *wails* Speaking of school,(you like my repetitive segues don't you, DON'T YOU!?) today, Friday, concludes my first week as a Junior at my new school at good ole' Winder-Barrow High School. While I'm not fond of my new town, (there's like, NOTHING here) the way the courses and schedule is laid out at the only high school in the whole damn county is so cool. :D Block schedulin' baby, yeah! *ahem* Anyways, I've babbled long enough. I have high hopes for this lil' thing. I know it's only a blog right now, but eventually I want to have an anime/manga/Jmusic/CLAMP/bishounen/everything-El-and-I-like-page ^.^;;; Time to learn myself some html :x
